Join us for a relaxed evening where you come out to the Kemble Athletic Field just as it gets dark. Owen Sound Sidewalk Astronomy and other local sky watchers will have telescopes set up, where guests can stargaze at a waxing crescent Moon, Venus low on the horizon, Jupiter at twilight, and the Big Dipper. Attendees just wander around, take turns at the telescopes, and enjoy the night sky – making sure headlights and flashlights stay off so everyone can see clearly. Everyone is invited to bring their own telescope, or simply show up and look through someone else’s.
