The Bluewater Astronomical Society will once again participate in the Huron Fringe Birding Festival, hosted by Huron Fringe Birding Festival.

🌌 Telescope Viewing Experience
Join BAS members for an evening under the stars as we provide:
• Public telescope viewing (weather permitting)
• Night sky orientation and constellation tours
• Education on light pollution and its impact on migrating birds
• Information about BAS programs and the Fox Observatory
Bird conservation and dark sky preservation go hand in hand. Migrating birds rely on natural night environments — just as astronomers rely on dark skies to explore the universe.
🙌 BAS Members – Volunteers Needed
We are inviting BAS members to support this outreach event.
You can help by:
• Bringing and operating a telescope
• Engaging with visitors and answering questions
• Promoting dark sky awareness
• Representing BAS within the community
Even if you do not bring equipment, your participation and enthusiasm make a meaningful difference.
