About This Image
Back in July, I was chatting with my friend Marty Anderson about our mutual interest. He mentioned that his friend in Florida had just posted an image of the War and Peace Nebula, and that he thought we should be able to capture it with our telescopes in Texas. When I went to look at it, I was delighted to see that it was very close to the Cat’s Paw, which has been on my “to do” list for a long time. I live in Southern Ontario, so neither of these are visible from here. I was even more excited when I realized that both targets would fit the FOV of my FRA300 quite nicely. Herein is the result. Thanks to Marty Anderson and Jamie Kenas for putting me onto this one!
