About This Image

This one was a real struggle. I have lots of good data, but I could not get colours that did not sicken me. I tried SHO, HOO+S, (H+S)OO, and Dynamic Combination. Nothing worked. Finally I stretched the H,S,O channels on their own and tried various combinations even using Perfect Palette Picker. Looking at the stretched masters I realized that there was almost no signal in the Oiii. So, I tried HSS - finally got something I could work with! This one is in Cepheus and sits about 4500 LY from earth.
