About This Image
Intermittent cloud and below average transparency meant that conditions at Starfest 2026 weren't ideal for imaging fairly faint targets like the Chinese Dragon Nebula (NGC 6559). This resulted in much less image integration time that I had hoped for. That said, given the limitations at hand, I still had lots of fun and was still very happy to come away this with this first cut at the Dragon. I hope to add more data and present a more detailed version down the road.
