BAS Annual General Meeting

Join us for the Bluewater Astronomical Society’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, March 4th at the Normanby Legion (NLC).

In addition to approving the Club’s financial statements for the past year and reviewing BAS financials, this meeting will feature a special member presentation by Julian on the Parker Solar Probe and current developments in solar science.

Members can also look forward to:

  • 🌌 Constellation 101: Leo — including notable deep sky objects for member observing

  • 🔭 Member Observations & Imaging Corner updates

  • 🛰 Observatory Committee Update

  • 📅 2026 Event Calendar High-Level Review

  • 🌠 Upcoming Sky Events

  • 🌐 BAS Website Update

  • 🛠 Workshop Planning (March/April dates to be confirmed)

We will also be sharing announcements including the need for:

  • A BAS Secretary

  • Volunteers for upcoming Regional Science Fairs

Club membership dues remain $60 for 2026, and members are encouraged to submit payment at or before the March meeting.

We look forward to seeing everyone for an informative evening of club updates, astronomy discussion, and planning for the year ahead.
