Marty is a member that hails from Toronto Ontario, and makes the trip up to the Fox Observatory during the spring, summer and fall months. During the winter, he lives in Florida and joins other amateur astronomers in pursuit of no sleep and golf during the day.

Recently he lead a team of 4 BAS members to produce the winning Starfest 2025 collaboration image of the year, you can see below called 1FN.
