DESCRIPTION:HAA Dark Sky Star Party 2026 \n\nBAS Members Only \nFriday\, September 11 – Sunday\, September 13\, 2026\nAndromeda Meadow – Skinner’s Bluff\, Ontario \nThe Bluewater Astronomical Society has been invited to participate in the Hamilton Amateur Astronomers (HAA) Dark Sky Star Party. This annual event offers a weekend of observing\, astrophotography\, camping\, and fellowship under some of the darkest skies in Southern Ontario. \nThe event will be held at Andromeda Meadow\, a privately owned 27-acre property near Skinner’s Bluff on the Bruce Peninsula. The site features expansive observing fields\, camping\, hiking trails\, and excellent dark-sky conditions. \nEvent Highlights\n\nDark-sky observing and astrophotography\nTent and RV camping available\nMorning Café on Saturday and Sunday\nOptional catered buffet dinner on Saturday evening\nOpportunity to meet amateur astronomers from across Ontario\nWeather permitting\, an afternoon visit to the BAS E.S.
