This year\, the program returns to Kincardine and expands to include an evening in Port Elgin. \nLook up. Wonder awaits.\nJoin us on Thursday\, August 6\, 2026\, for an evening of learning\, exploration and views of the summer night sky. \n🌙 Part 1: Astronomy Education and Stargazing Apps\n7:00 p.m.\nPowerLink Building – Third Floor\n1020 Goderich Street\, Port Elgin \nLearn how to use binoculars and stargazing apps to identify constellations\, locate celestial objects and navigate the night sky. \n🔭 Part 2: Public Stargazing\nApproximately 9:00 p.m.\, after sunset\nNodwell Park\n788 Highland Street\, Port Elgin \nView the Moon\, stars and other celestial objects through telescopes provided by members of the Bluewater Astronomical Society. \nThis is a free community event\, and everyone is welcome. Register using the QR code or the link provided and join us in discovering the wonders of the night sky. \nPlease dress for the weather and consider bringing a lawn chair or blanket. Telescope viewing is weather dependent\, so check for event updates before travelling. \nWe hope to see you there.
